Skyamsen Shawlette Pattern
This versatile shawlette is started at the narrowest point and increases point by point until you reach your desired length or you are out of yarn. The decorative points along one edge are a simple lace pattern that is worked simultaneously with the body of the shawl.
This shawlette is easily be modified by using different yarns or by simply adding some buttons. If you are using a different yarn or making a longer or shorter version, you may end up with a different number of points.
Yarn: 1 skein of Plymouth Linaza or 2 skeins of Zealana Kiwi Lace 0r 440 yds of fingering to sport weight yarn. We used color 4888 Taupe for the Plymouth Linaza model and color 13 Wintergreen for the Kiwi Lace model.
Gauge: 18 sts and 32 rows to 4 inches in garter stitch, blocked.
Needles: US6 (4mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
