Schacht School Loom
Tapestry weaving is considered by many to be the most personal of all weaving. Among the simplest of looms, the tapestry loom holds a continuous warp under tension, allowing the weaver to see all of the warp at once.
This simple frame loom ensures success, because Schacht designed it to be simple to warp and weave on. It has a 15″ weaving width, a built-in stand for upright use on the floor or a tabletop, and durable plastic teeth for a sett of 6 or 12 ends per inch. Weavers of all ages will find it easy to use.
Included with each loom: two pick-up sticks, a weaving needle, and simple warping and weaving instructions. The School Loom is made of hard maple and left unfinished. Some assembly is required, and you will need a screwdriver.
The Schacht School loom is in stock and ready to ship or pick up.
