Henry's Attic Peruvian Tweed

Peruvian Tweed is one of those yarns that people pick up and immediately want to cuddle!  This deliciously soft superfine alpaca is delightful to touch, and so soft and warm to wear, you will want to make all manner of scarves, blankets, hats, and sweaters. Huge 8 ounce hanks mean that you will only need two or three of them for most adult-size sweaters! 

The available colors represent the diverse range of naturally occurring alpaca fiber, including an array of browns, greys, and creamy ivory.  Each colorway consists of two strands of softly spun alpaca, bound with a third strand of a tightly spun alpaca yarn. There are endless possibilities for color play with one, two, or three natural shades in each color. The yarn is consistent throughout the skein and knot free, allowing the knitter or weaver complete control over color changes.

Alpaca yarns are hypo-allergenic, naturally free of lanolin and dander, and are water and fire resistant.
