CLASS 22Q0 Private Class, Intro to Repp Weave for Rigid Heddle Loom

Intro to Repp Weave is designed for students who have already learned rigid-heddle weaving and are ready to expand their skills. In this 4-hour workshop, Lois will introduce students to the technique of Repp Weave, and get them started on a project on the rigid heddle loom.

 

Class will cover design planning for a set of repp weave trivets or potholders, choosing yarns from the shop, and setting up the loom for repp weave. You can expect to get started weaving your project during class, though the majority of the weaving will be done at home after class.

 

Class time is 4 hours, with the expectation that the project will be finished on your own after class.

Looms are available to borrow during classes, if needed, and warping and winding tools are available to use during class. Supplies purchased on the day of class will receive a 10% student discount. A refundable $200 deposit is required to take the loom home after class. If you have your own rigid-heddle loom or any other tools or yarn that you would like to use, please mention that when you get in touch.

 

Wearing of face masks is required during class and inside the storeroom. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available in the classroom.
