Navajo Style Weaving (SOLD OUT)

In this 4 day class, your fingers will dance in the warp of a Navajo style weaving technique on an upright loom! Learn how to warp a four selvedge small rug, learn weaving techniques and use of color and design to the finishing. The beauty is, when you weave your last row and take it off the loom - it is finished! The loom and equipment needed are included in the price of the workshop. Equipment includes: Loom - approx. 22” x 30” with tensioning device and dowels, a fork and 2 battons.
- At least 5 skeins of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted in different colors of your choice, a tapestry needle, and navajo warp (available at The Weaving Works with a 10% student discount)
- Lunch - optional (lots of options in the neighborhood as well)
Two weekends March 11th/12th AND March 18th/19th from 10am-4pm
