Test Drive a 25" Flip Loom

Ever seen a large rigid heddle loom? Curious about weaving dishtowels? Come and take a test drive on a Schacht 25" Flip Loom (mounted on a stand). The loom is warped for cotton and linen towels. There will be a variety of weft options, all available in-store with a 10% student discount. We will provide basic orientation to the Flip and how to use a boat shuttle if you are unfamiliar. Sign up for a two-day block to weave one towel (Each towel approximately 17" x 22" finished). Staff will cut off, launder and secure towels to be available for pick up on or after October 15th. (You will need to hem it yourself).
PRE-REQ: Students must have woven before and should be able to weave on their own. Students must be able to finish their weaving (approximately 27" per towel) within their reserved dates.
