WSNE Natural White Blueface Leicester (BFL) Roving

Many spinners enjoy BFL wool for its luster and body. Smooth and medium soft, this fiber is great for both spinning and felting. The subtle luster becomes a glow when dyed. As this is a natural product, expect slight variation from one batch to the next (the photos show possible range of color variation).

BFL wool can be dyed with Jacquard Acid Dyes.

Please note: In January 2023, Ashland Bay sold their fiber business to Worsted Spinning New England (WSNE), and we now order this fiber from their mill instead. Quality of fibers has remained consistent during this transition.

25-27 micron, 4.5" staple length.
