NEW! Ashland Bay Camel Silk 2-ply
What a delight this yarn is! The exquisite softness and lightness of camel down is combined with the strength and sheen of cultivated silk, for a yarn that is soft and warm, with beautiful drape. The natural camel color combined with the white silk makes a pale, uniform tan that is beautiful as-is, and will add a "vintage" effect to any color that you might dye it.
For weaving, this is nearly identical in size to JaggerSpun Zephyr 2/18, which will be familiar to many weavers. You will find this yarn both smoother and shinier than Zephyr, but can otherwise use it interchangeably in patterns.
If you wish to dye this yarn, you will need Jacquard Acid Dyes.
Available in 1 ounce or 4 ounce wind-off cakes. Orders of multiple ounces will be one continuous ball, up to the capacity of the ball winder (5-6 ounces).
