Ashford Vari-Dent Reed Kits for Knitters Looms

Enjoy complete creativity when warping your rigid-heddle loom! Interchangeable reed segments can be combined in a single heddle to create interesting artistic effects by using different weight yarns in a single warp.

Sized to fit Ashford Knitter's Looms, these reed kits allow you to weave with art yarn, thick yarn, thin yarn, and everything in between, in custom arrangements designed by you! Combine the narrow (1.75-inch) and wide (4-inch) reed segments, in multiple dent sizes, to accommodate your variety of warp yarns across the width of the reed frame. Once it's set up and warped, the variable-dent reed works just like the fixed-dent reeds, for easy weaving.

Made from strong, durable nylon with Silver Beech rails, to match your loom. Due to the spacer rods and the nature of the reed segments, actual weaving width will be slightly smaller than with standard reeds.

Kit includes reed frame, instructions for changing out reed segments, and:

• 12-inch (30 cm): 2 narrow and 1 wide piece of each dent size (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 dent)
• 20-inch (50 cm): 2 narrow and 2 wide pieces of each dent size (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 dent)
