Ashford NZ Corriedale Dyed Fluorescents
Known globally for their spinning wheels, Ashford also offers fibers in roving form for spinning and felting. Their corriedale fleeces are sourced from New Zealand farms where their sheep are well cared for and not mulesed. The fiber is sent to a boutique mill there to be further dyed and processed.
Corriedale wool has a defined, even crimp and is smooth and easy to work with. Yarn spun from Corriedale will have good elasticity and bulk after washing. Needle and wet felting is straightforward, although may not produce a super fine finish.
Ashford Corriedale sliver is also available in dyed solid colors and natural undyed shades.
