Global Organic Textile Standard GOTS

Non-Mulesed Sheep

Mulesing of sheep is the practice of removing skin from around the tail area to avoid an infestation of flies. This badge applies to companies who only work with farmers who have found more humane ways to avoid "flystrike" in their sheep, and do not practice mulesing.
