Schacht Maple Boat Shuttles

Schacht boat shuttles are beautifully shaped and well balanced. The hard maple wood is sanded smooth and then given a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish, with the charming Schacht sheep logo branded on the side. All shuttles here will hold Schacht 4" bobbins.

The most popular boat shuttle, the 11″ boat shuttle, is offered in slim or regular models with closed-bottom or open-bottom style.

11" shuttles are 11.5" long, 1 7/8" wide. Regular is 1.25" deep (open or closed bottom). Slim is 1" deep (open bottom) or 1 1/8" deep (closed bottom).

The 9″ mini is styled after a Japanese silk shuttle. This duck-nosed shuttle is wonderful for narrow widths, fine yarns, and smaller looms.

9" long, 1 5/8" wide, 1" deep.

Double-bobbin boat shuttles are ideal for doubled weft threads. Two separate bobbin shafts make it possible to remove just one bobbin at a time.
