Banana Fiber! What a surprising and delightful addition to the world of spinning.

With many of the same properties as cellulose fibers such as tencel and bamboo, you will find banana fiber to be crisp yet soft, with a gentle sheen and a naturally warm, white color. The luminous appearance will remind you of silk, while the crisp hand is similar to a very pliable flax, with excellent moisture-wicking properties. This vegan fiber is also biodegradable, and a renewable product of the banana plant.

To dye this fiber, you will need Procion MX dyes.
