Ashford Cultivated Silk Top

Cultivated Silk, also called Bombyx silk or mulberry silk, is produced from the silk of worms raised in captivity and fed only mulberry leaves. Due to the specific diet and care, this silk is very white and supremely smooth and shiny. As well as its natural sheen, it is strong, resistant to pilling, and the long fibers make it easy to spin. It looks stunning when dyed and blends beautifully with other fibers.

Silk will dye brilliantly with Acid Dyes.
