Beginning Drop Spindle Spinning- MAY
Instructor: Mia Hanson
Drop spindle spinning is one of the oldest and simplest methods of making yarn. In this 3-hour class, students will learn the basics of how to spin on a drop spindle, including a brief overview of different types of fibers and different ways to spin. After going over these basics, Mia will demonstrate drop-spindle spinning while describing the process in action, and then you will have plenty of time to practice together!
No experience is necessary. Adults and older children are both welcome in this class.
