Beginning Tapestry Weaving APRIL

Tapestry is one of the oldest forms of woven textiles, and is today a popular and contemporary art form. This is a two-part introductory class to the wonderful art of tapestry. In this two day class, you will learn how to warp a simple pipe loom, learn different weave techniques, learn how to build shapes in your weaving, and understand the use of color and color blending in design.
This class will be held at the instructor's studio in Burien. Address will be sent via email after registration.
- handmade pipe loom, which is yours to keep.
- 6 oz. of Harrisville Shetland yarn in a variety of colors
- 4 ounce skein of warp yarn
- 6 small tapestry bobbins
- measuring tape
