Weaving Works Woolies


For many years, The Weaving Works has collected all manner of handmade garments and accessories year round from staff and customers to be donated to those in need through Mary's Place and First Place Schools. We call these donations Woolies. 



Mirrix Looms Weave Along 19

November 22 to December 13, 2015


Claudia Chase and Elena Zuyok of Mirrix Looms will lead participants through a small textural tapestry wall-hanging on a loom in their FREE Online class. This weave-along will teach how to set-up and warp a Mirrix Loom, some basic concepts of tapestry weaving, a few fundamental tapestry techniques and how to finish a wall-hanging.


We will be hosting the Weave Along launch  meet-up event on Sunday, November 22nd at 6:30pm. All participants are invited to join! That evening we will discuss warping, weaving, techniques and more! Refreshments will be provided.
