A little note for a giant "Thank You"

Thank You Image

Feeling gratitude, and not expressing it, is like wrapping a present and not giving it.

– William Arthur Ward

It has been a whirlwind these past few weeks, As we continue to close our storefront operations and wrangle our new operations and wrap up loose ends, we haven't had many moments to reflect back and share our gratitude with you all for your support and well-wishes on our individual and collective futures.

As the perfect time to make pretty and complete prose may not be soon forthcoming, better now than when the timing is perfect (it never is!)- Thank you, all of you, for being a part of this wonderful community. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for caring. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

One way we'd like to continue to keep in touch is by sharing what we are up to as we go along!

In the works at The Weaving Works

In the upcoming weeks we are busy arranging Fall classes and going through our inventory and fixtures. Updating our web inventory is a priority, however, must take a slight back seat to handling lose ends and regrouping now that we have new schedules. If there is a product you need that isn't yet up on our website, please drop us a line at info AT weavingworks DOT com!

In the works elsewhere

Jessi's Northern Exposure Cowl WIP
Jessica is finding time to do some personal knitting (another Northwestern Exposure Cowl) while en route to her new program (and occasionally during class).

Cory's Noro WIP
Cory is getting the hang of her new job and working some meditational Noro stripes in the evenings.

Jennifer is recuperating from a broken toe (Ouch! working in a yarn store is not always pain free) and is finding creative ways to enjoy veritable cornucopia of fresh veggies from her local CSA.

And last (but definitively not in the least), Stacy has been teaching away and, as always, plotting...

  • So glad you will be moving, not closing!

  • Please put my email address in your newsletter database. Will sorely miss your storefront. Best wishes for all your future endeavors. Happy knitting.

  • I have a question, and I’ll bet I’m not the only one. I just got your news of a Pop Up store in my inbox, which I would love to attend. However, it doesn’t show the location of the sale. I wouldn’t want to assume it was at the old location. But where exactly will the Oct 1 event be?
