Spincycle Dyed in the Wool
Spincycle Yarns, based out of Bellingham, WA, is an inspiring, local hand-dyer and spinner. They peddle their wares in bicycle trailers to local Farmer's Markets and beyond.
Dyed in the Wool is a merging of hand-dye and commercial productivity. Rachel and Kate of Spincycle Yarns dye the wool before taking it to a local mill where this wool is then spun. Each of the two plies shifts in color randomly, producing the intriguing and unexpected color shifts and plays handspun is known for.
This heavy fingering/sport weight yarn is ever versatile enough. Two skeins will make a dashing little Baby Surprise Jacket (up to 9 month size), it's superwash!
